HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter to all may we take the time to remember Jesus and his life all that he has done for us. I feel very blessed and am thankful for all that I have been giving. One of the most important is my family I'm looking forward to the time we will have this day. I'm prepared with my 10 little baskets with 10 bunnies with to much candy for my oh so sweet grandchildren.

STILL COLLECTING MY MARBLES!!!!!!!

If you truely know me you know that I have this jar of marbles. I don't really remember when I started collecting them but I have had to get bigger jars a few times. When asked about my marbles I would say something like 'oh I lost my marbles and I'm just trying to find them all' you would have to be very special to ever even look at them much less play with them because I wouldn't want to lose them again. I've found them everywhere I have old ones plain ones beautiful ones my favorite are the 'cat eyes' anyway it's been awhile since I've found one the last being a half of a marble a beautiful yellow and white swirls old one but only a half I that it was fun and I had a little laugh. Anyway this is the one I can't figure out but stuff like this happens to me quite often and I just can't figure out so help me understand. I have had most everything in my room packed up since sept with my remodle on my room my marble jar was in a box in the storage room no marbles in my room I just got them out last night. But when I come home from bountiful saturday on my birthday. 1st thing I saw was this black marble in the floor in front of my closet. Strange I had swept my room that morning and it wasn't there I had opened and closed the closet door several times and it was not there but after being gone for hours and return there it was in the open floor. I was happy that I found another lost marble but where did it come from??????

WHAT A FUN DAY !!!!!!!!

Today is my birthday and what a fun day it was I hope everyone else thought it was fun too. It was a day of lunch and shopping with my lovely daughters, Lori [arins sister in law] and her daughters. A girls day out 1st one of those I've had in a long time. Plus I even shopped at another store other than "smith's market place" which is my one stop shop work place. That kinda of felt good in it's self. The weather was a great sunny day it felt good not to have a coat. I loved it and thanks to all that went for the celebration you made my day. It was much better than watching tv all day or doing nothing. I got some good pictures. I think that I have beautiful daughters and I'm glad we had this day even if you guys do think I'm old thats okay just wait tell your 27 again and see what you look like. Also Emily made us matching crowns so I guess I was "queen for the day" does anyone out there remember queen for the day day time tv show??????? again what a fun day

GRANDPARENTS DAY IN GRANTSVILLE

What a fun time grandparents day 2nd time that Siamima and I have attended together that is what adds to the fun I love being with Nellie's mom she is so much fun we enjoy what ever we do together and laugh we can laugh about anything we are as different as night and day but complement each other great and to be with the girls is the most fun can't say alot about the lunch last year it was turkey dressing potatoes gravey roll salad cake or pie this year the same I guess you could say but no dressing one scoop potatoes topped with gravey with turkey CHUNKS [I had 4 small chunks]not sure if that was real meat or not anyway it was something to laugh about as you see Ireland went with us skyee stayed home but I did get a picture and as a bonus I have their car for 3 days what will I do it seems I should be going somewhere everyday we'll see

TELL ME WHY...........

when I came home from work all tired not wanting to think about anything but resting jeff was setting in my room I knew he was over but anyway ......he said something like I really messed up..........and if you know jeff thats alot for him to say I'm sure he had been thinking of how to say it he looked up I looked up and water was dripping through my new ceiling what happened the hot water was clogged in the kitchen upstair so he was fixing it nothing was come through the pipe at all and he left it unhooked with the water on not a good thing to do because whatever had it clogged broke loose and flooded the kitchen not only the kitchen but the water went under the cabnets so he couldn't clean it up only place it go is down only thing ruined the ceiling and paint luckly it didn't drip on anything but the floor down here but why can't things just stay nice

After seeing Amy's post of Emi's dresser with it's stickers I thought I would share this with everyone There is no doubt who some 20+ years ago signed my drawer I just removed all the stickers about 3 months ago there was even star wars stickers don't know why I left them on so long either Amy was over awhile back and wanted this dresser I told her I guess she's already written her name on it so guess it'll be hers it was my parents and I'm really glad I have it should probably be refinished but I'm going to leave it just the way it is it has personlity if you ask me I don't know why kids write on things But I do know that for years all four of my kids names were signed in the womens bathroom at the Chickasha Branch in Okla where in the drawer of course But I did hear they remodeled so the names are gone I don't remember writing on things and I don't think we had stickers

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER

Today is your day and I hope it is a good day sometime time passes by and you never have taken the time to tell someone why you love them I do love my mother it's not always been the easiest thing to show I do know that my mother taught me many things she'll never know she taught me to be strong no matter what life gives you I understand that my mother didn't have the best of a start for reasons I really don't know except she was born to very young parents was given to her grandmother at age 3 I'm sure it was very hard growing up waiting for someone that never returns but I feel she was very loved by her grandparents and I have to admit she is one of the best gannys ever she has been ganny to many kids that are of no relation to her but she took them in one thing I remember about my parents is how they helped others they didn't get up and anounce to the world but they silently helped their neighbors I always remember taken bags of fresh meat and canned or frozen veggies to people we always had a huge garden after we put up what we needed they would invite families out to pick the rest I'm glad we always had food because now as an adult I understand not everyone did I'm glad she made things with her hands I'm glad she knew how to work hard and still does I'm thankful for all the help she gave me as a single parent raising 4 kids I glad I was able to have the life I had as a child it's made me who I'm today I want my mother to know I owe most everthing to her thanks for all you've done and I'm sure alot of people are happy that on march 16th Lawanda Oleta Ireland was born so HAPPY BIRTHDAY

YEAH IT"S FRIDAY THE 13TH

that means that in one week it is the first day of spring I can hardly wait for warm days and nights no more hoodies no more coats no more walking in the cold I love the warmth it feels soooo good I hope spring is here to stay

HERE"S MY NICE NEW ROOM

okay here it is I know it's small but it works for me the bathis not finished yet Jeff has to paint a room to get ready for the next renter so after that he will get it finished I'm so tired I realized that my 11 days off are coming to a end I guess it will be good to get back to work my job is not as hard work as I've done the last days of coarse Jeff is the one that has done all the work I'll take this time to brag a little about my son what can I say he's one of the hardest worker I know I'm beginning to see that if Jeff puts his mind on something he does it and the thing is it seems so easy to him like the attic he decided he would turn it in to rentable space the attic......have any of you been in a attic of a 100 yr old house their was no insulation in the roof you could see day light all around dirty dirty dirty but jeff he turned it to a nice studio apartment he had no experience at carpentry but in the end he amazed me it's like how did he do that insultation in the attic helped the whole house we were talking and realized he has now change every room of the house in some way he has turned non functional space in to space used wisely so here's to you Jeff it's so easy to see how you can take an early retirement so soon thanks Jeff for all you do for everyone

DAYS AWAY

we are getting closer to being finished i'm ready to get every thing back in order and have no more construction dust no more dry wall dust I've basicly being living in a big mess since last aug. 6 mo of work in the basemnt but it is diffently worth the wait one totally new room for jeff to rent and a total makeover of my room plus a personal bath and closet yeah and jeff found a nice storage space under the stairs when he removed the old wall to think i was living in that room is kind of creepy no more' hippie haven ' with fabric covering the yuk walls carpet that had been there for no one knows how long yuk again plus i must say a very good use of unused space no more hall no more going through two doors to get to my room it kinda seem like some kind of maze the way it was before i spent many hours looking at all that wasted space thinking how nice it would be to knock the wall down so we did yeah and it's going to be nice i can actually say i like my space in 'the house' now maybe it's not the smallest room in the house now plus i have a walk in closet and a bath with a tub i haven't had a tub in nearly 6 yrs so it's good i can just lock the door to the upstairs and have my own little place of coarse bill and matt will be down here but they don't really count it's all good anyway i think the paint on the doors are dry so i can turn them and paint the other side it's nice that jeff was able to recycle two doors one from up stairs and one is from some doors he bought this summer at yard sale that came out of an old house like this one and the doors matched our doors so that was a good find for him since he's always making a new room that needs a door okay i'll post photos later if i remember to take some remind me to take pics someone

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYE WALKER!!!!!!!

baby skye is 1 yr old today she's so cute jeff and nellie have such pretty girls with 3 older sisters she doesn't miss out on anything if she's not finding the action for herself someone else is dragging her there she's been walking since she was 8 mo so she's on the go sweet baby girl but remember she's Skye Walker and if she lives up to her name and walks the skies that's alot of walkin' if they could only stay little weema loves you baby skye

I'm back

Lot's of things to have happened in the last 4 weeks let me tell you about a few Amy's birthday that was fun it is always so nice to be together as a family everyone was there plus ryan's mom and sister 22 in all it was stocktons 1st big party not sure what he thinks of his big family I got some good pictures that capture his reactions to family jeff said he looks like a scared kitten what do you think?

STOCKTON WYATT JEFFS

here he is baby boy Jeffs arrived jan. 21st at 3:38am weighing in a 7lb 5oz I think and never heard anyone say how long he sure is cute good mix of arin and troy arin sure is tired she said if we call she'll kill us so let her call you okay it wasn't the easiest quickest deliverey but after 3 1/2hrs pushing he made his appearance on his due date arin did a good job so did troy he's a good cheer leader I'll admit we stood by the door so we could hear that baby cry Troys mom recorded the sound of nearly every contraction from outside the door that should be good footage you go grandma so she got troy counting nurses and doctor yelling push and arin... I'll let her tell you her part

I just got the call to come to hospitall 9cm start to push in about an hour

as of right now 7:50pm there still is no baby it's been a long slow day for arin not much going on doc says maybe 3-4 more hours we shall see I'll keep you posted

I WONDER WHAT THEIR THINKIN'

today is the day for their baby boy I can hardly wait I know he'll be a big blessing to them both and that they will be great parents if you know arin and troy you know they are just about the best aunt and uncle team you'll ever find so you go get that baby oh and just a memory of when arin was born I had never in my life and still havn't seen a baby with such big eyes they were bigger then mine so I'll know if he has arins eyes ganny and papa called her ET remember et? love you guys now I need to get ready post pics later
